Bathroom Remodel in Neptune City

Challenge

This firehouse bathroom was functional but outdated. The space featured old wall and floor tiles, a dingy urinal, poor lighting, and a dated drop ceiling. The existing baseboard heating system was also inefficient, and the overall space felt dark, cramped, and worn from years of heavy use.

The goal was to modernize the bathroom while improving durability, accessibility, and everyday usability for firefighters.

Plan

We designed a full upgrade focused on longevity, comfort, and clean aesthetics:

  • Replace all floor and wall tile with modern, durable materials

  • Install a larger sink and taller vanity for improved accessibility

  • Remove the old baseboard heater and upgrade the heating system

  • Add a built-in shelf next to the toilet for daily convenience

  • Upgrade the drop ceiling and install slim LED lighting for brighter, more efficient illumination

Build

Key steps included:

  • Careful demolition of existing tile, fixtures, ceiling, and heating components

  • Precise tile layout and installation to ensure clean lines and long-term durability

  • Installation of a modern drop ceiling system with low-profile LED panels

  • Final detailing to ensure the space remained functional, clean, and easy to maintain

Every step was completed with durability and heavy daily use in mind.

Result

The finished bathroom is brighter, cleaner, and far more functional.
Key benefits include:

  • Improved lighting and visibility

  • Better accessibility and comfort

  • Easier cleaning and maintenance

  • A modernized space that reflects the professionalism of the firehouse

This remodel transformed a tired bathroom into a space built to handle real-world use while looking clean and updated.
