Basement & Bathroom Restoration in Holmdel, NJ
Challenge:
A failed sewer ejector pump caused extensive water damage throughout a finished basement and adjoining bathroom, leaving the space unusable and in need of full restoration.
Plan:
Our goal was to restore all damaged areas while also taking the opportunity to modernize the bathroom. This included removing affected drywall, repairing compromised sections, selecting updated materials such as subway tile, and preparing a smooth timeline for repairs, tiling, and finishing.
Build:
We began by carefully removing all water-damaged drywall and repairing the impacted areas to ensure a sound structure. After restoring the basement surfaces, we applied fresh spackle and paint for a seamless finish. In the bathroom, we went beyond simple repairs—installing clean, modern subway tile to brighten and refresh the space, elevating it from its original outdated design.
Result:
The basement and bathroom were fully restored, with the bathroom receiving a modernized look that’s brighter, cleaner, and better than before. The homeowners regained a functional, refreshed space that improves both everyday comfort and long-term value.
