In this recent bathroom renovation in Wanamassa, NJ, our team was presented with a familiar challenge: transforming a tight, outdated space into a room that feels open, functional, and relaxing. The original layout limited movement and comfort, so our goal was to redesign every detail to create a bathroom that feels both spacious and soothing.
The Challenge
The existing bathroom had a compact footprint and a layout that minimized functionality. The tub, vanity, and walls were arranged in a way that made the room feel confined. Our mission was to make the most of every inch—enhancing both usability and aesthetic flow without expanding the footprint.
The Plan
We carefully collaborated with the homeowner to refine the details and layout, balancing practicality with serenity. Every element—from paint color to shower placement—was chosen to make the space feel larger, calmer, and more inviting. The goal was not just to remodel, but to reimagine the room as a place of daily relaxation and renewal.
The Build
Our crew removed the existing bathtub and installed a custom shower base, finished with grey and white tile to evoke a clean, tranquil atmosphere. We repainted the walls in a deep sea blue tone—designed to mellow the mood and complement the tile’s soft contrast. New fixtures and finishes tied the entire design together, creating a seamless transition from floor to wall and ensuring the space feels cohesive and modern.
The Result
The finished bathroom embodies calm and comfort. What was once a cramped and dated space is now a spacious, functional retreat—a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. Every design choice contributes to the experience: quieting the mind, easing the senses, and adding value to the home.
